Following is the announcement from the chamber:
Dear Users,
One of the many tasks that I am assigned in my position as Chamber President is to review and analyze each program, product and service that we offer and determine if it meets our mission - The Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce exists to serve the economic well-being of our members and our communities in Shiawassee County.
It has become evident that the classified advertising section does not meet this mission. After Monday, November 26, no new ads will be allowed to be placed. Existing ads will continue to run until December 10, when the classified advertising section is terminated.
Michigan Online Group has agreed to host community classified advertisements on their website at classifieds.michonline.net.
